Demand YouTube to Stop Imposing Experimental Features and Call for yt CEO's Resignation
The Issue
As a community of dedicated YouTube users, we've had enough. We are tired of being forced into trying experimental features that we did not ask for. We want the right to opt out of these features, and we demand it now. The imposition of YouTube Shorts and the lackluster replacement for YouTube Music have been significant points of contention among us. Moreover, the removal of public dislikes has stripped away an essential tool in gauging video content quality.
Furthermore, we are calling for the resignation of Neal Mohan from his position as Chief Product Officer at YouTube due to perceived mismanagement and disregard for user feedback. His tenure has seen an increase in censorship that many users find excessive and unnecessary. And we also demand google to end all oversea Indian call centers and switch to more American english-speaking call centers we are Americans we want to speak to English customer support not Indian support we also call for sundar pichai to resgin both google and youtube need better English American ceos that support America not India and we also demand google/youtube return the block user function we don't want to see comments from hidden comments we want the abilty to block trolls so they can't view live streams or comment on channels they are blocked on we also want public dislikes back
In addition, we demand that official YouTube be made available on all Kindle Fire tablets to ensure equal access across all devices.
According to a survey by Pew Research Center in 2018, 73% of U.S adults use Youtube (source: Pew Research Center), highlighting its widespread influence on our daily lives. This makes it even more crucial that user feedback is taken seriously by those at the helm.
We believe these changes will greatly enhance our experience on this platform which plays such a pivotal role in our digital lives. Stand with us as we fight for a better Youtube - one that respects its users' rights and preferences. Sign this petition today!
