I have been a victim of relentless harassment on YouTube for two years. A group of individuals has targeted me, making fun of my facial features that are caused by a disability, ridiculing my weight, and shaming me in every possible way. Despite providing concrete evidence to YouTube, including screenshots demonstrating clear violations of their own rules by these individuals, my pleas have fallen on deaf ears. They either dismiss the issue stating there is no violation or wrongfully categorize the harassment as 'free speech'.

YouTube's Community Guidelines clearly state that content or behavior intended to maliciously harass or bully others is not allowed on their platform. Yet, they fail to enforce these guidelines when it comes to protecting users like myself from such harmful behavior.

According to a 2017 study by Ditch The Label - an international anti-bullying organization - out of 10,000 participants aged 12-20 in the UK and USA, 14% reported being bullied online specifically through YouTube (Source: Ditch The Label). This statistic emphasizes the urgent need for platforms like YouTube to take responsibility for enforcing their policies.

We must hold YouTube accountable for its lackadaisical approach towards enforcing its own Terms Of Service and Community Guidelines. By signing this petition you are standing up against online bullying and demanding that platforms like Youtube protect all users from harassment.
