There are far too many injured workers in Ontario who have felt injustice in their treatment by the WSIB. Valid claims denied, excessive bureaucracy, prolonged delays in treatment, and a process that works in favour of businesses. Case managers are callous and do the bare minimum even though you are in pain and your long-term health is on the line. The Fair Practices Commission does little more than talk to WSIB staff and excuse their behaviour. The waitlist for representation by the Office of the Worker Advisor is far too long. Injured workers are uninformed about their full options for appeal. The WSIB needs to be reformed to put injured workers first. Make your voice heard.
