As homeowners in this community, we were sold dreams that included access to our beautiful neighborhood clubhouse by early 2025. Unfortunately, those dreams remain unfulfilled to this date. Despite paying exorbitant HOA fees, the doors of the clubhouse remain closed to us while Meritage continues to extend their use of the clubhouse as a sales office well into 2026 (or until every house is sold, whenever that may be).

Our frustration lies not only with the broken promises, but also with the knowledge that Meritage has multiple model homes at their disposal for office use. It is an absurdity that we, the homeowners, have to finance a facility we are barred from using while alternative arrangements can clearly be made.

There is no doubt that we greatly value the amenities provided by our HOA, which further enhance the quality of our lives in our community. However, their value is substantially diminished when we are unable to fully utilize these facilities, despite paying more than double the average HOA fees of San Tan Valley homes. We need either a reassessment of the fees until the clubhouse becomes available for our use or rightful access to the clubhouse without any further delay.

Our discontent is not born out of a sense of entitlement, but from the simple principle of fairness. No individual should have to pay for a service they are not receiving, especially in a place they call home. Please sign this petition to demand use of our clubhouse that we pay more than enough for or a consequent reduction until we can fully make use of all facilities.
