The Hon Chief Justice Of India

Supreme court

New Delhi.

Sir,

Re: Urgent hearing of Sri MC Singla Case earlier posted on 7.5.26 appears dragged to 22.07.26 Reasons best known to Judiciary which are beyond the control of waiting for outcome by around 8 lakh pensioners.

          With due respect to Judiciary.

As stakeholders in the ongoing Supreme Court case concerning the urgent pension update for bank retirees, we as petitioners acknowledge the prolonged adjournment of the case of Sri  M.C. Singla (late).

This matter involving pension updates is not only significant to the individuals involved but also impacts the entire community of retired Public Sector Bank (PSB) employees.
The current status of the case leaves it partially heard since February 26, impacting over 800,000 retirees across India.

It's crucial that this matter receives a day-long, uninterrupted hearing to reach a resolution, as each delay further exacerbates the financial and emotional strain on pensioners.

These retirees, having dedicated decades of service to the banking sector, deserve swift justice and attention to the pending issue concerning their rightful pension adjustments.
The evidence supporting the retirees’ demands is compelling. Nearly a million retirees are impacted; this demographic encompasses individuals who have contributed greatly to national economic stability. Furthermore, those retirees now face the real challenge of sustaining their livelihoods on pensions that have not kept pace with inflation and rising costs.
By allowing Sri MC Singla case a dedicated hearing slot with no further adjournments, the court affirms its commitment to delivering timely justice. We call upon the Honorable Chief Justice of India and the esteemed Justices to consider our plea seriously and uphold the values of fairness and efficiency in the judicial system.

          We reiterate Hon CJI views

          Justice DELAYED is

          Justice  DESTROYED

His recent observations on Registry needs to be thoroughly investigated as stated by Hon CJI

This petition not only highlights the urgent need for pension updates but underscores a broader commitment to respecting and valuing the service of our senior citizens.

We pray Hon CJI to arrange for emphatic directions as warranted in the interest of 8 lakh pensioners

Today ie 10.5.26 news coverage in Telugu Daily News Paper that former CJI Hon Sri BR Gagoi  expressed his opinion in  a lecture that

"  Constitution is Supreme than others "

As Sri DS Murthy garu  one of the Bank retiree veteren Bank Union leader aged 75+ always says updation of Pension through Hon Courts is only Solution to Stagnated Pensioners for the last 3 decades in general and more than a decade in Hon SC in particular with the blessings of Goddess Kanaka Durga Mata be secured.

With due respect to Judiciary and with the kind intervention of CJI a positive outcome with empathetic approach will be foreseen by around 8 lakh Bank retirees eagerly awaiting Hon SC directions

With regards,

Yours Sincerely,
