Demand Universal change its sexist grad bash dress code

The Issue

Universal Studios hosts Grad Bash for seniors at the end of each school year. For this event, they provide a separate dress code from normal park policy that is not only unnecessarily restrictive but also divided entirely by gender and heavily more restrictive for girls than for guys. Half of the dress code is a chart titled "What is NOT OK to wear to Grad Bash" that is divided into two columns titled "GIRLS" and "GUYS." The girls' column of restrictions extends substantially longer than the guys' column and is laden with sexist language. For example, two corresponding lines are nearly verbatim, stating "clothing that is too tight" in the guys' column and "clothing that are too tight *or revealing*" in the girls' column, making the "revealing" restriction exclusively apply to girls.

After contacting Universal Studios and not receiving a sufficient response to our complaints, it is clear that we must take further action to make it clear that this blatant sexism is unacceptable and will not be tolerated.
