My grandmas were involved in a wreck Thursday evening that claimed the life of my beloved grandma Mar, and left my grandma Donna in critical condition. This personal tragedy has highlighted an urgent need for improved safety measures on this particular stretch of road.

FM 51 is known for its high traffic volume and unfortunately, it has become notorious for accidents like the one that affected my family. We are calling upon the Texas Department of Transportation (TXDOT) to take immediate action. We demand thorough investigations into these incidents and comprehensive safety improvements along FM 51.
