The Issue

My struggle, like many other hardworking Americans, involves the uncomfortable truth of withheld earnings. Amounts that are unilaterally decided to be taken from our hard-earned paychecks, funneled towards the government, and subsequently invested in sectors like weapon manufacturing, without our explicit consent or knowledge. This scenario is hard to swallow, particularly given that the representatives we collectively vote for, presumably to be our voices in government, are profiting immensely from this arrangement. We, the laborers, the backbone of this great nation, are struggling just to support our families.  The elected officials of this country are profiting off the labor of “We the People”, Nancy Pelosi is up over $10 million in her investments in the stock market, per Stockwits on X.  “Public Servants”, what does this even mean!!

Furthermore, I harbor concerns about the constitutional underpinnings of this issue, specifically related to the 16th Amendment, which allows for the collection of income tax. It's held that this amendment has not been ratified in all 50 states.  In fact, it has only been ratified in the District of Columbia for Federal Employees.  Translated: “We the People” have been lied to and we should not have our pay “withheld” because it is unconstitutional.

The federal government rests its authority to collect income tax on the 16th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution—the federal income tax amendment—which was allegedly ratified in 1913.

"The Congress shall have power to lay and collect taxes on incomes, from whatever source derived, without apportionment among the several States, and without regard to any census or enumeration."

—The 16th Amendment to the Constitution of the United States of America

After an extensive year-long nationwide research project, William J. Benson discovered that the 16th Amendment was not ratified by the requisite three-fourths of the states and that nevertheless Secretary of State Philander Knox had fraudulently declared ratification.  https://thelawthatneverwas.com/

This inconsistency places a dense fog over the legality of the aforementioned withholding of earnings, intensifying my confusion, and the confusion of many others.

It's essential that we strive for clear transparency from our government regarding these matters. We, as American workers, should be informed about where our money goes, who profits, and the constitutionality of these actions. To ignore this is to undermine the very principles of democracy upon which our nation was built.

Stand up for your right to transparency and fairness. Sign this petition to demand accountability from our elected representatives and pledge to rectify these injustices. Let's ensure that your hard-earned money, our hard-earned money, works in service to us, the American people, as it should. Please sign this petition and let our collective voice be heard.
