It is with deeply felt frustration and disappointment that I share my personal ordeal, along with many others, with the Government Employees Pension Fund (GEPF) and Bidvest Bank (Old Mutual Money). Despite submitting withdrawal claims (two-pot) and having our salaries directly paid into our Old Mutual Money accounts, we are yet to receive our funds. In this exhausting process, GEPF and Bidvest are noncommittal, sending us from pillar to post without resolution.

Our money, much of which is earned from years of dedicated service, is learning to be elusive as institutions which should stand for service and fairness, falter. Their actions not only display a shocking disregard for our financial stability but also significantly strain our ability to meet crucial financial commitments.

This isn't a sole story. Many public servants are echoing similar sentiments, their withdrawal funds remaining a promise instead of reality. The situation warrants immediate attention and transparency from GEPF and Bidvest Bank.

This petition is a collective call for fidelity and urgency in dealing with our withdrawal payouts. We demand GEPF and Bidvest Bank fix the ongoing problems.
