PETITION

We, the undersigned students, faculty, staff, alumni, donors, supporters, and members of the chiropractic profession, call upon the Board of Regents and leadership of Life Chiropractic College West to take immediate, transparent, and independently verifiable action to address the serious governance, financial, and institutional concerns identified by the college’s accreditors.

We sign this petition because we love Life West and want it to survive, recover, and become stronger.

Life West is bigger than any one president, board member, administrator, employee, or individual interest. It belongs to the students investing in their futures, the faculty and staff serving the institution, the alumni carrying its name, and the profession that depends upon the quality and integrity of chiropractic education.

WHY THIS PETITION IS NECESSARY

For the sake of transparency and verifiability, I have included links to the primary sources that substantiate the need for this petition. If you don't want to read it all, please know that we are reading it and want what is best for the college.

WHAT WE ARE REQUESTING

Life West should promptly publish the following governing documents:

• The current Board of Regents bylaws, including all amendments. We specifically request that the current bylaws be released no later than Friday, August 14, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. Pacific Time.
• The current conflict-of-interest policy
• An accurate list of current Board members, their positions, and their terms of service (complete dates, including beginning and end)
• Policies governing Board compensation, consulting arrangements, travel, reimbursements, conflicts, recusals, and contracts involving Board members

OUR PURPOSE

This petition is not an attempt to destroy Life West.

Its purpose is to protect students, preserve the institution, restore public trust, and ensure that the people entrusted with governing Life West are acting in the institution’s best interests.

Silence will not restore confidence. Transparency, independent oversight, corrective action, and accountability can.

If you believe Life West deserves leadership worthy of its students, faculty, staff, alumni, and mission, please sign this petition.

Life West:

Give us the records.

Do the work required to repair the institution.

Love Life West enough to confront the truth.

Serve the students before serving any person’s title, reputation, friendship, or legacy.

Life West deserves transparency.

Our students deserve responsible stewardship.

Our profession deserves better.
