The Issue

I am personally being affected by the actions of the Ulez scheme. Inaccurate charges and unfounded legal actions are causing distress to countless citizens, myself included. The signage relating to Ulez is currently challenged in the High Court due to its potential for misleading the public. Additionally, the system's inequity has been demonstrated through erroneous charges to vehicles that are, in fact, low emission. This scheme is not only flawed, it is also unfairly and potentially illegally enforcing fines. The fines are enforced by bailiffs, whose persistent and intrusive activities can be considered harassment contrary to the Protection from Harassment Act 1997 s2. To add to this, the penalties issued under the Ulez scheme are not convictions, so seizure of property to satisfy payment is potentially illegal and void according to the Bill of Rights Act 1688. This alarming situation presents a clear and present infringement of personal rights within the Ulez scheme and its administration, affecting innocent citizens. We need openness, fairness, and the rule of law to prevail. This is not just my fight; it affects all of us. I call for a full investigation into these accusations. Please sign this petition to demand transparency and equality in the Ulez scheme.
