We, the undersigned, respectfully submit this petition to request immediate transparency, accountability, and corrective action regarding the operations, governance, and workplace conditions at Boyd. Concerns: 1. A full audit of Boyd’s finances is urgently needed to verify fund management and ensure transparency. 2. Confirmation and public documentation of the true ownership of the establishment. 3. Disclosure of all taxpayer dollars provided to Boyd, including amounts received and their use. 4. Removal of Stace from Boyd employment. 5. Removal of Kirby Ballard from the Boyd Board. 6. Guaranteed public access to all Boyd board meetings. 7. The existence of a toxic work environment that is negatively affecting staff well-being and organizational stability. 8. The concern that Dr. Mapue is being unfairly pushed out despite their dedication, leadership, and meaningful contributions. We petition to protect and retain Dr. Mapue to ensure continuity and fairness. Requested Actions: - Conduct an independent, comprehensive financial audit of Boyd. - Provide official documentation verifying ownership of the establishment. - Release a full public report detailing all taxpayer funding Boyd receives and how it is allocated. - Remove Stace from employment at Boyd. - Remove Kirby Ballard from the Boyd Board. - Make all board meetings fully open and accessible to the public. - Investigate and address the toxic work environment, implementing corrective measures to ensure staff safety and well-being. - Protect Dr. Mapue from unjust removal and ensure they receive full institutional support. We urge prompt action on these matters to restore trust, protect staff, and ensure proper use of public funds.
