The Issue

Click. Agree. Silenced. — End Forced Arbitration Worldwide

The time has come for the United Nations to take a stand.

Across the world, people are unknowingly signing away their fundamental right to justice. Hidden in the fine print of everyday user agreements are forced arbitration clauses — legal traps that strip away your right to sue, ban class actions, and silence victims through private, unaccountable proceedings.

This practice isn’t rare. It’s standard.

Amazon’s Terms of Service clearly state:

“Any dispute or claim… will be resolved by binding arbitration, rather than in court… You and we each agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis… and waive any right to a jury trial.”

They are not alone. Major corporations — including Microsoft, Netflix, Activision/Blizzard, Disney, Hulu, and PlayStation — use similar clauses. These companies profit while denying customers, workers, and users the right to a fair trial, a jury, or a collective voice.

We are calling on the United Nations — including the UN Human Rights Council and the UN Working Group on Business & Human Rights — to:

Recognize forced arbitration as a global rights violation.
Urge member nations to ban mandatory arbitration clauses in consumer and employment contracts.
Require companies to offer a clear and fair opt-out option in favour of traditional court proceedings.

This is not anti-business — it’s pro-human rights. Justice must never be optional. And access to fair, transparent courts should never depend on what you clicked without reading.

🔥 Why This Matters:

Arbitration happens in private, with no judge, jury, or public record.
Consumers often don’t even know they’ve agreed to it.
It’s used to silence harassment victims, overcharge customers, and avoid accountability.

We aren’t asking for special treatment — we’re asking for fairness.

🫱 Let’s make this global.

With 1,600–8,000 signatures, we can show the UN, tech giants, and the world that we will not accept injustice hidden in legal fine print.

Sign now to demand real legal rights for all.

Because when corporations fear no court, justice disappears for everyone.
