Demand the Termination of Key Figures in Nampa School District for Neglect of Student Safety and Increased Expenditures

The Issue

As a deeply concerned member of the Nampa School district, I am moved to launch this campaign due to serious concerns about student safety, financial transparency, and overall responsibility. The Superintendent, Executive Director of Operations, and Director of Finance of the Nampa School district have allegedly neglected students' safety and made false statements concerning the saving of district funds. Specifically, the changes in bus service, which they deemed as cost-saving measures, have only endangered student safety and increased the district’s expenses.

Buses are being added to accommodate an influx of students, resulting in overloaded buses that pose a serious safety risk to our children. The district is shelling out for lot rent, shuttling drivers, and accumulating additional costs in unforeseen areas such as gift cards for fuel and compensating drivers for wait hours. Despite these burgeoning expenses, the officials continue to mislead the board of trustees, falsely claiming that they are still saving money.

The misinformation and negligence that characterises their administration not only threaten the wellbeing of Nampa School District students but also the financial stability of the institution they were employed to protect. Their actions are unacceptable, and it is time we hold them accountable for their failure to serve the students and community of Nampa, Idaho.
