As passionate fans of the Seattle Mariners, we invest our time, emotions, and resources into supporting and cheering for our beloved team. However, our dedication is tested when a player consistently underperforms, affecting the team’s overall success. Luis Castillo has unfortunately become a major source of frustration for many of us. Watching him pitch has become an exercise in disappointment, and it’s time for a change.

Luis Castillo, our current starting pitcher, has continuously failed to meet expectations. On numerous occasions, his ERA (earned run average) has been subpar, often resulting in the Mariners' losses which could have been wins with better pitching.

The Mariners have a loyal fan base that deserves a team striving for excellence. Allowing Castillo to remain on the team despite these performances sends a message of complacency rather than competitiveness.

We call upon the Seattle Mariners management to take immediate action – either trade Luis Castillo to another team where he might find a better fit, or release him from the roster to make room for promising talent that could contribute positively to the team's success.
