According to reports, the budget proposed by Picozzi not only lacked feasibility but was also drastically different from expert recommendations needed to sustain and improve SEPTA services. His actions demonstrate a clear disconnect from the needs and wellbeing of his constituents. Now is the time for accountability. We need leaders committed to genuine progress, those who understand the urgent needs of public services and are willing to advocate sincerely for effective solutions.
