Demand the Resignation of Assistant District Attorney Tiffany McWilliams

Demand the Resignation of Assistant District Attorney Tiffany McWilliams
The Issue
This petition comes from a place of deep personal pain and frustration. Tiffany McWilliams, the current assistant district attorney of Bee County, TX, has allowed human trafficking to persist across Live Oak County. As a result, many residents have been left without justice after surviving physical and sexual assaults.
The issue is not just personal but also systemic. Human trafficking is a grave crime that affects millions worldwide. In Texas alone, it's estimated that there are around 313,000 victims of human trafficking at any given time (University of Texas). Yet despite these staggering numbers and the devastating impact on individuals' lives, our assistant district attorney has failed to take adequate action.
McWilliams' inaction has not only perpetuated this heinous crime but also denied justice to survivors who deserve support and retribution. Her position requires her to protect us - the citizens - yet she has consistently shown an inability or unwillingness to do so.
We need someone in this critical role who will stand up for victims and fight against such atrocities rather than turn a blind eye. Therefore we call for Tiffany McWilliams' immediate resignation from her position as assistant district attorney in Bee County.
It's time for us to demand better representation and justice for all residents affected by these crimes. Please sign this petition today demanding accountability from our public officials.
