I am a resident of La Grange, KY, and like many others in our community, I have been subjected to the unjust practices of Omni, our current community management company. When I first moved here, I was blindsided by an unexpected bill for annual dues and past dues owed by the previous homeowners. Despite my attempts to explain that I had just moved in and was unaware of these charges, my pleas fell on deaf ears. Instead of understanding or assistance, they took me to court on Christmas Eve - a day when most people are with their families. As a single mother with children to care for, attending court wasn't possible for me that day. The result? A court order demanding over $500 in payment.

But this is not just about me; it's about all residents who have been unfairly targeted by Omni's harassing practices. Neighbors are being fined without reason - pictures taken while they're simply cleaning up their yards or garages are used as evidence of supposed 'violations'. Garbage cans left out due to snowfall are deemed violations too.

Omni's actions violate resident rights and create an environment filled with fear rather than community spirit. It is time we stand together against these unfair practices.

We call upon the relevant authorities to remove Omni as our community management company and replace them with one that respects residents' rights and promotes fairness within our neighborhood.
