As a deeply concerned member of the Scranton community, I am initiating this petition due to my personal desire to restore a safe and positive atmosphere at John F Kennedy Elementary School. The current principal, Nora Phillips, has presided over an environment that many parents, students, and teaching staff no longer find conducive for learning or teaching.

Our school was once renowned for its nurturing environment and high academic standards. However, under Ms. Phillips' leadership, we have witnessed a decline in both these areas which is detrimental to our children's future. It is crucial that we act now to prevent further damage.

The need for change is urgent and necessary not just for our children but also for the dedicated teachers who are struggling under this administration. Our teachers deserve an environment where they can focus on educating our young minds rather than navigating through administrative hurdles.

We believe that with new leadership committed to fostering a positive learning environment and supporting its staff members effectively can restore JFK Elementary back to its glory days.

Therefore, we urge the Scranton School District Board of Education to consider our plea seriously - remove Nora Phillips from her position as principal at John F Kennedy Elementary School in Scranton Pennsylvania.
