Demand The Removal of Incompetent Cadre Deployment Leaders in School Sports and SAFA
The Issue
I have watched with sadness as the competitiveness and participation in sports, particularly soccer, has gone downhill in our country, a downfall that can be traced to cadre deployment - the strategy of the corrupt African National Congress (ANC). In the past, even in the apartheid era, soccer in our country was thriving, producing far better results than what we bear witness to today. Yet, through undue practices, the current management structure, built on cadre deployment, remains in power despite producing zero results.
We as a sporting nation suffer at the hands of Mr Shoes Mazibuko who is at the helm of our grass-root level, school sports and Dr Danny Jordaan, the current President of the South Africa Football Association (SAFA). Despite the continuous failures, they keep their positions. This can no longer be tolerated.
Appealing to the Public and the Minister of Arts, Sports & Recreation, Minister Gayton, who himself is a results-driven individual, we demand the immediate firing of these two cadre deployment leaders. This action is not just important but necessary to revive school sports and our beloved soccer. Our country is full of potential - capable South Africans who have the ability to steer our sports back to glory.
It's time for competence over cadre, and performance over politics. Sign this petition to demand that Minister Gayton act decisively and remove these individuals from their posts. With competent leadership, we can return our sports to its former glory and create a better future for our young athletes.
