I am one of the millions who were deeply affected by the tragic 9/11 attacks. The pain it caused is impossible to forget, and it is a harsh reality many of us had to face. It's devastating that in light of this, individuals like Hasan Piker use social media platforms to voice harmful and offensive comments related to these acts of terror. Piker's reckless utterances have directly rubbed salt on the raw wounds of those who suffered or lost loved ones in these heartbreaking incidents.

Accurate statistics are hard to come by, but it is estimated that over 3000 innocent lives were lost to the 9/11 attacks (source: National September 11 Memorial & Museum). This does not even begin to account for the countless loved ones, like my own family, left scarred by the loss. Yet, figures like Piker make inappropriate comments about these incidents, showing an alarming lack of empathy.

In the interest of preserving respectful discussions on social media, and in consideration of the feelings of those directly impacted by these heinous acts, we are demanding the removal of Hasan Piker from these platforms. His comments are a breach of community guidelines that seek to protect users from hate speech, harassment, and the spreading of harmful content.

We need your support to pass this message along. It's time to stand against those who trivialise the travails of others for trivial gains.
