Demand the Removal of Coach Carter as Head Baseball Coach at Canyon Springs High
Demand the Removal of Coach Carter as Head Baseball Coach at Canyon Springs High
The Issue
I am a concerned member of the Moreno Valley community, deeply affected by the current leadership of our beloved Canyon Springs High's baseball team. Our head coach, Coach Carter, has been leading our team in a way that many find unsatisfactory. This is not just about winning or losing games; it's about fostering an environment that nurtures growth, sportsmanship, and respect among our young athletes.
Unfortunately, under Coach Carter's leadership, we've seen a significant decline in team morale and performance. The lack of effective coaching strategies and poor communication skills have led to a decrease in overall team spirit and unity.
This situation is personal to me because baseball is more than just a game. It shapes character and teaches valuable life lessons such as teamwork, discipline, perseverance - all qualities we want to instill in our youth for their future success.
We believe that change starts at the top. We need someone who can inspire these young minds while teaching them how to play the game with integrity and passion. We are calling on the school board to reconsider their decision regarding Coach Carter’s position.
He’s the first to leave at 4PM everyday. Coach Carter will miss several practice’s a week. There’s no coaching and teaching. It’s just yelling at the boys and expecting them to know. His knowledge of the game of baseball is old and outdated. There is no planning for the future for these boys. He has zero involvement in the youth and the growth of the program. ALL THE KIDS AT HIS OWN SCHOOL DON’T WANT TO PLAY FOR HIM.
How is it that he pushed another head coach during a game and no one has done anything about this? There has been multiple accusations of him throwing his equipment in the dugout out of anger! What kind of example is this to our kids?
Our children deserve better; they deserve leaders who will guide them towards becoming not only better players but also better individuals off-field. Let us come together as one community for this cause – sign this petition today!
