Ksenia, a beloved friend and integral member of our Los Angeles community, is currently being held unlawfully in Russia. This situation has caused immense distress within our community and we are rallying together to demand her safe return.

Ksenia's absence is deeply felt by all who know her. Her unlawful detention in Russia violates international human rights standards, including those set forth by the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR), which guarantees everyone's right to liberty and security of person (Article 3).

The U.S government has an obligation to protect its citizens abroad. We urge them to take immediate action on behalf of Ksenia and negotiate for her release with Russian authorities.

We cannot stand by while one of our own suffers unjustly far from home. It's time for us as a community, as fellow Americans, to raise our voices against this injustice.
