My personal frustration has grown as I watch Governor J. B. Pritzker seemingly focus more on issues surrounding illegal immigrants than on the concerns of the constituents living in our state. I feel overlooked and seek your support to demand impeachment of the governor. Indeed, there has been an influx of initiatives such as Protection for Immigrants in Healthcare (SJ Res 52 / HJ Res 80) under Pritzker's administration. Yet, while immigration is certainly a significant issue, we must also address the pressing needs of those already living in the state.

Pritzker’s focus is not adequately balanced to cover the myriad of demands coming from the citizens of this state, which has led to a growing dissatisfaction with his administration. Moreover, the governor's approval rating recently dipped below 40% (source: Morning Consult’s Governor Approval Rankings, Q2 2021).

We appeal to the principles of democracy and urge the legislative assembly to take our grievances into account and seek impeachment of Governor J.B. Pritzker. We believe that a leader should be chosen based on their ability to serve all, not just a select few.
