However, a series of controversies surrounding national examinations during the current tenure of the Ministry of Education has raised serious concerns regarding administrative oversight, examination security, and institutional accountability.

These concerns have affected the confidence of students and families across the country and have highlighted the need for stronger governance and reforms.

National-level examinations, including NEET-UG, UGC-NET, and CUET, have faced allegations of question paper leaks, technical failures, scheduling disruptions, and other irregularities that have raised concerns regarding the integrity of these examinations.

The recurring nature of these issues has led many citizens to question whether adequate oversight, preventive measures, and institutional accountability have been exercised by the Ministry of Education and its agencies.

Our Demands

We respectfully request that the Government of India:

Consider the immediate removal or resignation of Shri Dharmendra Pradhan as Union Education Minister in the interest of restoring public confidence.
Order an independent and transparent audit of the National Testing Agency (NTA) and other relevant examination bodies to identify administrative and procedural shortcomings.
Implement stronger examination security measures, including advanced anti-paper leak mechanisms, improved cybersecurity, secure logistics, and enhanced monitoring systems.
Establish an independent student grievance redressal mechanism with meaningful representation from students, educators, academic experts, and civil society.
Strengthen accountability measures for all institutions responsible for conducting national-level examinations.

Conclusion

Leadership carries both administrative and moral responsibility. Where public confidence in critical national institutions has been significantly affected, it is appropriate for constitutional authorities to consider whether a change in leadership is necessary in the interest of restoring trust and ensuring effective governance.
