As a concerned resident of the Gardens of Woodberry community in Palm Beach Gardens, FL, I am deeply troubled by our Homeowners Association's (HOA) decision to replace an entire wood fence along Shady Lakes Dr that is still in good condition. The proposed PVC fence not only costs twice as much but also doesn't last as long due to Florida’s harsh weather conditions which can cause them to crack or warp over time. It doesn't match in color, design, and material with the rest of our community's aesthetic. This mismatch creates a hodgepodge look and affects the overall value of our beloved neighborhood.

The current plan is not only an unnecessary waste of money replacing a perfectly good fence but also disregards the fact that only a small portion at the corner of PGA and Shady Lakes Dr needs replacement due to damage. We propose that this section be replaced with identical wood shadow box design and color to maintain uniformity vs paying 27,195 dollars for the proposed PVC fence project. 

Our community deserves better than this short-sighted decision-making process. We demand transparency from our HOA board and urge them reconsider their decision for the benefit of all residents who call Gardens of Woodberry home.
