Demand the Expansion of Raising Cane's Restaurants to All States

The Issue

My name is just like many other food enthusiasts out there who long for the mouthwatering goodness of Raising Cane's chicken fingers. However, my dream and privilege of enjoying this delicacy is challenged by geographical limitations. The closest Raising Cane's to me is a staggering three hours away—a dreadful conundrum encountered by many across the nation due to the restaurant's limited presence. Meanwhile, others are living minutes away from these eateries, luxuriating in delicious meals at their convenience. This glaring disparity feels grossly unjust, pushing me to initiate this campaign.

Raising Cane's, first established in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, in 1996, has quickly grown into a satisfying and beloved chain restaurant, with over 500 locations in 27 states (National Restaurant News, 2020). However, this leaves 23 states in deprivation of its signature chicken fingers, Texas toast, and secret sauce—a situation which needs immediate rectification. The business thrives in areas where it currently exists, and its remarkable 25% average sales increase annually (QSR Magazine, 2021) signifies that Raising Cane's isn't just a restaurant, it's a culinary experience desired by many.

By demanding the expansion of Raising Cane's restaurants to all 50 states, not only do we ensure equal access to good quality quick-service food, but also contribute to job creation, given that each new chain employs around 75 to 100 individuals (QSR Web, 2021).

This campaign is about more than just a craving for unmatched chicken fingers—it's about ushering equality in food accessibility and standing up against the geography-determined privilege in our societies.

It's time to extend the unique, finger-licking flavor of Raising Cane's to every state. Let's speak out against geographical food discrimination!
