With the Edmonton Oilers now in the 2024 Stanley Cup Finals, it is a perfect time for the team to use the attention and coverage they now have, to advocate and show solidarity with the Palestinian people 
The people of Palestine need all the help they can get, and the Oilers have the chance to do the right thing and help raise awareness and money to help them 

Here's ways the Oilers can show solidarity to Palestine 

1. Have a remark done at the start of their home games, announcing their solidarity and support, to those in Palestine 

2. Raise money during the series to give to groups like the UNRWA, Doctors Without Borders, and other organizations who give aid to Palestinians 

3. Calling for a ceasefire to take place in Gaza, allowing for both the safety of those in Gaza, and to help Israeli hostages return home 

4. Wearing the Palestinian flag on their jerseys, to hammer in their solidarity
