As a dedicated NFL fan, I have witnessed the integrity of our beloved sport being compromised. My team, the Detroit Lions, was robbed of a chance at securing the number one seed in the playoffs due to what many believe was an unjust call by referee Brad Allen. Despite clear video evidence contradicting his decision, he failed to rectify his mistake - a failure that speaks volumes about his integrity and commitment to fair play.

Brad Allen's questionable officiating has not only affected my team but has also cast doubt on the credibility of NFL games. His actions have shown a lack of honesty and fairness that is expected from any professional referee. It is crucial for referees to make unbiased decisions as they directly influence game outcomes and can potentially alter entire seasons.

The role of an NFL referee carries significant responsibility; they are entrusted with maintaining sportsmanship, fairness, and respect on the field. When referees like Brad Allen fail in their duties, it undermines these values and tarnishes our sport's reputation.

We demand accountability from those who hold such influential positions within our favorite pastime. We call upon Roger Goodell as Commissioner of the National Football League (NFL) to take immediate action by dismissing Brad Allen from his position as an NFL referee. Being demoted for the Playoffs is simply not sufficient justice.
