Loay Alnaji, a professor at CSUN and several other universities, attended a pro-palestinian rally and has been accused of the murder of Paul Kessler. Alnaji allegedly struck Paul Kessler, a Jewish American, in the head with a megaphone, which led to internal bleeding and his death.

This is deeply disturbing and creates an unsafe and hostile learning environment for all students. Antisemitism, defined as hostility to or prejudice against Jews, is on the rise globally. Alnaji’s actions contribute to this alarming trend and he should be reprimanded. 

Education should be about promoting understanding and respect among different cultures and religions. However, Alnaji did just the opposite - making Jewish students feel unsafe. 

Alnaji’s harmful ideologies and criminal actions should be condemned. Schools are supposed to be safe havens for learning, not a place where students walk around in fear. We call upon our school administration and board members to take immediate action by dismissing him from his position.
