Demand that Tumblr switches to green web hosting !

The Issue

The micro-blogging website Tumblr produces 1.01g of CO2 every time somebody visits. Over a year 12,105.22kg of CO2 is produced by Tumblr page visits. This is worse than 75% of webpages. (Figures from https://www.websitecarbon.com/

We, as Tumblr users, demand that the website switches to green web hosting, which would reduce the website’s Co3 output by 9%.

If you don’t know what green web hosting is, it’s a more environmentally friendly way of hosting a website. It uses renewable energy instead of fossil fuels.
