• Education is a human right, not a privilege. Shutting down the schools in Oakland is wrong.

Justifying the closure of schools in a community that already faces, so much hardship, and is constantly denied their civil and human rights is a crime to humanity. It should be looked into by the International community. To use the budget, as an excuse to shut down the schools, in one of the wealthiest nations is outright felonious. 

The funds to keep those schools open should be our priority. Instead of using monies to incarcerate, to fund actions to remove people's rights to vote, to provide tax breaks to corporations, that ruin our environment and violate human rights, funding schools for disadvantages children, is non negotiable. Our government has money to fund the military, but can't find money to educate poor children in Oakland--- that's a crime.

There is no excuse for closing down those schools. Instead focus on the factors, that lead to children having low performance in schools. Poverty, and lack of human rights are the factors that cause children in poor communities to not perform well. To blame a poor community, whose community members human rights are constantly violated is blasphemous.

Please sign the petition snd support the right of all children to get an education. There are you excuse for tomorrow by together in education.

It is for reasons like this, that I support oppressed people of the United States to secede from the Union to form their own independent region, AZTLAN. Sign the petition, volunteer to write letters to human rights violations all over the world and we need to inform Congress after we get enough signatures so that they can help us with the process of asking for sedition rights. They have had hundreds of years to make things right, genocide, ethnic cleansing, mass shootings and American apartheid are all white supremacy strategies to remove us, so why not just do it legally? We deserve the right to live without white supremacy and racism.
