Thank you to the 84,360 people who have signed our petition. Your support has helped get action! During our recent federal election campaign, we asked all parties to commit to a review of our dangerous Canadian breast cancer screening guidelines.

The Liberal government responded with this statement, ”We have heard the concerns from the health community regarding breast screening practices. A re-elected Liberal government will review the structure of the Task Force to ensure that it incorporates the best advice and scientific evidence into its recommendations and guidelines.”

We look forward to speaking with our new Health Minister about this commitment.

We’ll also be relaying the issues raised by 2500 Canadian women in our national survey on breast screening. The survey findings, which were distressing, and our calls to action can read in our report here:
