Today (17th February 2026), I saw a disappointed mother and young child head to the Turks boats pier (who's services are also suspended during the winter months) and her son was crying because there were no boats running.

Turks boats only run between Hampton Court and Kingston and don't even go through the lock. The issue here is poor, outdated infrastructure at Hampton Court Landing Stage and boat companies not having enough vessels/rolling stock.

This is something which really needs to be addressed because we want our festive cruises!
