Demand termination of officer Hunter Foster
The Issue
Hunter Foster, a police officer in Senatobia, Mississippi, has recently been involved in the tragic shooting death of 1-year-old baby Kohen Wiley. Our community is in mourning, and the pain felt by those who knew this precious child is immeasurable. But this is not an isolated incident. Officer Foster's troubling history in law enforcement raises urgent questions about why he was still employed even after being forced to resign from multiple agencies for misconduct across Northwest Mississippi.
Disturbingly, this isn't the only red flag. Just two days before this heartbreaking incident, Officer Foster was reported by another officer for using racial slurs within his precinct, leading to an investigation. This pattern of behavior suggests a deeply concerning disposition unfit for someone tasked with upholding justice and protecting community members.
Given the severity of his actions and the weight of his past, it is clear that Officer Hunter Foster must be held accountable. While communities across the nation call for accountability and justice, our tax dollars cannot continue to support an officer who has repeatedly demonstrated poor judgment and an inability to conduct himself with the integrity required of his position.
We demand the immediate termination and removal of Officer Hunter Foster from his post. This action is not only necessary for justice for baby Kohen Wiley but also to prevent further potential harm to our community. Keeping Foster employed only undermines public trust and damages the community's relationship with law enforcement.
