Our peaceful community has been violated and our safety threatened by an undisciplined and vicious dog living next door. Since the first incident where this dog relentlessly attacked my 11-year-old son, we have lived in fear. I was the next target, leading to a painful hospital visit due to the lack of necessary vaccinations for this aggressive dog. Yet, despite our multiple reports on these incidents, animal control has failed to take appropriate action to ensure the dog owners are held accountable.

Today, the reality of the threat has escalated. On April 2, 2025, my 14-year-old daughter was another target when she was merely walking to the bus stop. Our children, along with all community members, have the right to feel safe in their own neighborhood, a right that has been compromised.

According to the National Canine Research Council, responsible pet ownership and community cooperation are key to preventing dog bite incidents. This dog has shown a clear pattern of aggression and its owners show a lack of responsibility, providing a clear case for intervention.

We, therefore, request the local government and animal control to enforce stricter regulations on pet ownership and ensure public safety. This includes holding the dog's owners accountable for their pet's actions and neutralizing this ongoing threat.
