As residents of RAH Revere at Independence, we are deeply concerned about the poor quality of the residential fences that were built around our homes by Richmond American Homes (RAH). These fences, which were supposed to provide protection and privacy for our families, have proven to be inadequate and unsafe.

Many of us have invested our hard-earned money in purchasing homes within this community, expecting a certain level of quality and craftsmanship. However, upon closer inspection, it has become evident that the fences surrounding our properties are riddled with issues. Gaps in boards allow easy visibility into our yards and compromise our privacy. Nails sticking out or not properly secured pose a serious safety hazard for children, pets, and anyone who comes into contact with the fence.

Furthermore, the fence boards themselves are often broken or bent due to their poor construction. This not only diminishes their functionality but also compromises their durability over time. The use of extremely thin untreated wood further exacerbates these problems as it is prone to warping, rotting, and deteriorating under various weather conditions.

We believe that every homeowner deserves a safe and secure environment for themselves and their loved ones. The current state of these fences not only fails to meet basic standards but also puts us at risk. It is unacceptable that we have been left with minimal protection due to RAH's negligence in providing sturdy and reliable residential fencing.

To address this issue effectively, we call upon Richmond American Homes to take immediate action by rebuilding all residential fences within RAH Revere at Independence using high-quality materials such as treated wood or alternative durable options available on the market today. By doing so:

1) Our safety concerns will be alleviated as we can trust in the stability and strength of these new fences.
2) Privacy will be restored since there will be no gaps or compromised sections.
3) The overall aesthetic appeal of our community will be enhanced, positively impacting property values.

We understand that the cost of rebuilding these fences may be substantial. However, as paying customers who have already invested significant amounts in our homes, we believe it is RAH's responsibility to rectify this situation and provide us with the protection and privacy we deserve.
