The Issue

As a concerned parent in our community, I've witnessed the importance of impartiality and professional conduct in our public school system. Our educators and administrators hold positions of influence and responsibility. Yet, when those in leadership roles, such as Barbara Mullen of the Rush-Henrietta Central School District and Linda Quilty of the Vestal Central School District, engage in activities outside the scope of their professional duties, which could polarize and divide our community, it becomes necessary to re-evaluate their suitability for such positions.

Recent reports have indicated that both Mullen and Quilty have been involved in organizing anti-ICE protests and creating tip networks within the school system. Such actions, while potentially well-intentioned, can significantly undermine the trust and neutrality we expect from our educational leaders.

The primary function of educators and administrators should be to provide a safe and open environment for all students, free from political and ideological biases. Our community's trust is based on the expectation that our children's education will not be influenced by external political agendas.

This petition is a call to action for the resignation of Barbara Mullen and Linda Quilty to uphold the integrity of our school systems and ensure that our educators remain focused on providing non-partisan educational leadership.

Join me in demanding the resignation of these individuals to help restore the faith and confidence in the educational institutions that serve our children. Sign this petition today to make your voice heard and support the unprejudiced leadership our schools and students deserve.
