Students and citizens of India have been growing increasingly concerned about the state of the education system. It is under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan that significant policy decisions impacting our educational infrastructure have been made, yet many have arguably fallen short of addressing the real needs and aspirations of the students.

Under PM Modi's tenure, we have seen policies that, despite being ambitious, have led to concerns about their effectiveness in fostering a conducive environment for education. Moreover, key improvements that were anticipated in public education have largely not materialized, leaving schools underfunded and students underserved. According to the Annual Status of Education Report (ASER), basic learning outcomes have remained stagnant, highlighting a systemic failure to boost foundational skills in literacy and numeracy across the nation.

Alongside this, Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, who carries the critical responsibility of shaping the future education policy framework, has faced criticisms for not adequately consulting with educational stakeholders, including students, teachers, and academic experts. Decisions like unexpected alterations to curricula and examination patterns have often left students and educators alike in turmoil, pointing to a disconnect between government decisions and educational realities.

Given these circumstances, we call for the resignation of both PM Narendra Modi and Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. A change in leadership could pave the way for fresh perspectives and collaborative strategies that better serve the interests of our students and effectively reform the educational landscape.

We demand a leadership that is responsive and accountable to the people, committed to transparency, and willing to engage in constructive dialogue to resolve educational disparities. Let us unite to advocate for a system that prioritizes quality education and student welfare above all.
