This issue is deeply personal to the people of Rongelap as the funds being misused are meant for the families of nuclear victims, including mine. These funds are federally provided by the United States, intended to support those affected by nuclear tragedies. However, Mayor James Matayoshi and Senate Candidate Hilton T Kendall have been accused of mismanaging these vital resources.

There is a growing concern about their alleged misuse of governmental funds and resources in Rongelap Local Government. Such actions not only betray public trust but also deprive deserving families from receiving necessary aid. The impact on our community has been devastating, with many struggling to meet basic needs due to this financial malfeasance.

We must hold our leaders accountable for their actions. We demand an immediate investigation into these allegations and call for the resignation of Mayor James Matayoshi if found guilty. Furthermore, we insist that Hilton T Kendall's candidacy for Nitijela seat be put on hold until all allegations are thoroughly investigated.
