Demand Resignation of Chief Fred Simon and Restoration of Tribal Property back to th Tribe
The Issue
I am writing this as a deeply concerned member of the Natchitoches Tribe of Louisiana. My trust, along with those of my fellow tribespeople, has been violated by none other than our own chief, Fred Simon. With an aching heart, we have observed that he has been abusing his position, misusing private information located within our tribal files, jeopardizing the safety, and infringing upon the rights of our tribe.
Evidence of such misuse, including the mishandling of personal information, has come to light in recent months. From personal experiences to accounts from other members, the complaints are overwhelming and cannot be ignored any longer. Such actions are a direct breach of the trust that the tribe has placed in Chief Simon and they undermine the integrity of our leadership.
The concerns go beyond individual rights – the abuse reverberates through our community, sowing discord and division in a tribe that has always held unity in the highest regard. Our tribe deserves leadership that respects and protects its members. As such, I implore you to consider demanding the resignation of Chief Fred Simon.
Furthermore, it's requested that all tribal property be turned over back to the tribe and the tribal council. This would ensure the property is managed effectively and responsibly by a group of representatives who respect the connectivity between our tribe, our lands, our heritage, and our peoples.
Please sign this petition and support the bid to bring justice and respect back to the Natchitoches Tribe of Louisiana. Your voice can make an integral difference in the fight against misuse of power. By adding your signature, you champion the rights of our tribe and help ensure a future rooted in respect and trust.
