I am a resident of Maricopa, AZ with medical needs that require consistent power supply. Unfortunately, Electrical District 3 has consistently failed to deliver this essential service. This is not just my story but the reality for many residents who rely on oxygen tanks, breathing machines and other vital home medical equipment.

Our lives are at risk due to the inconsistent power supply from Electrical District 3. Moreover, they impose some of the most restrictive rules on solar energy installation in our homes - an absurdity given that we live in Arizona, a state blessed with abundant sunshine.

Arizona ranks third in the U.S for solar potential yet only 6% of its electricity comes from solar (source: U.S Energy Information Administration). We should be leading the way in renewable energy use instead of being held back by restrictive policies.

We demand two things: First, that Electrical District 3 significantly improves its service reliability to ensure uninterrupted power supply for all customers especially those with critical health needs. Second, we call upon local authorities to allow other power companies into our area or at least ease restrictions on residential solar installations.
