Demand Queens Fresh Meadows LLC to Improve Property Maintenance Standards

Demand Queens Fresh Meadows LLC to Improve Property Maintenance Standards
The Issue
As a resident of Fresh Meadows Apartments, I am continually frustrated by negligence towards the property, which is reducing the living standards and negatively influencing my residential experience. Consequently, this petition seeks to pursue Queens Fresh Meadows LLC to enforce more stringent property grounds policies in relation to smoking, animal waste, and general garbage disposal.
Despite regulations stipulating a 25-feet no-smoking radius around residential properties, this policy is regularly violated at the apartment complex, impacting the health and well-being of tenants. According to statistics from the American Lung Association, secondhand smoke alone leads to approximately 7,330 deaths from lung cancer and 33,950 deaths from heart disease annually. Queens Fresh Meadows LLC should take decisive action to regulate and prevent such violations for the good of all residents.
Additionally, pet owners' neglect in tidying up after their pets creates unsanitary conditions, especially in the grass and park areas. The American Veterinary Medical Association affirms that failing to pick up pet waste poses a public health risk, as it can contain harmful organisms such as E. coli, Giardia, and Salmonella. Imposing fines on pet owners who don't pick up after their pets could be a practical strategy to rectify this issue.
Lastly, the general upkeep of the area is falling short. Trash around the property is an eyesore and a health hazard. Periodic maintenance and regular cleaning schedules can substantially help solve this problem and promote a cleaner, healthier living environment.
Through this petition, we strongly urge Queens Fresh Meadows LLC to take immediate action towards improving living conditions for all of its tenants. Our homes should not only be a place of comfort but also a safe and clean environment that promotes health and well-being. Sign this petition now to support enhanced property maintenance standards at Fresh Meadows Apartments.
