Born and raised in Junagadh, I am deeply concerned about the prevalent issue of medical waste in our city. As the founder of a technology company based in Junagadh, I am dedicated to providing opportunities to our local residents, especially the aspiring students who wish to pursue a career in IT without the need to leave our town.

On World Environment Day, the TechRover Team collected a significant amount of medical waste(19 Kg)  from single spot on Zanzarda Road. This reality is alarmingly concerning. Medical waste, if not correctly managed, presents a significant health risk. Diseases such as plague and COVID-19 can spread rapidly due to improper disposal of medical waste.

We are truly fortunate to have a Commissioner like Dr. Omprakash, who is dedicated solely to serving the public interest. We appeal to the Commissioner of the City of Junagadh to take immediate action in this matter. We urge the implementation of stringent measures for the correct management and final disposal of medical waste, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our citizens. જૂનાગઢમાં જન્મેલા અને ઉછરેલાં, હું આપણા શહેરમાં મેડિકલ વેસ્ટના પ્રચલિત મુદ્દાને લઈને ખૂબ જ ચિંતિત છું. જૂનાગઢ સ્થિત ટેક્નોલોજી કંપનીના સ્થાપક તરીકે, હું અમારા સ્થાનિક રહેવાસીઓને તકો પૂરી પાડવા માટે સમર્પિત છું, ખાસ કરીને મહત્વાકાંક્ષી વિદ્યાર્થીઓ કે જેઓ આપણું શહેર છોડવાની જરૂર વગર ITમાં કારકિર્દી બનાવવા ઈચ્છે છે.

વિશ્વ પર્યાવરણ દિવસ પર, ટેકરોવર ટીમે શહેરની ઝાંઝરડા રોડ પર એક જ સ્થળેથી, નોંધપાત્ર પ્રમાણમાં ( 19 Kg) તબીબી કચરો એકત્રિત કર્યો. આ વાસ્તવિકતા ચિંતાજનક છે. તબીબી કચરો, જો યોગ્ય રીતે વ્યવસ્થાપન ન કરવામાં આવે તો, નોંધપાત્ર આરોગ્ય જોખમ રજૂ કરે છે. તબીબી કચરાના અયોગ્ય નિકાલને કારણે પ્લેગ અને COVID-19 જેવા રોગો ઝડપથી ફેલાઈ શકે છે.

અમે સાચે જ ભાગ્યશાળી છીએ કે અમે ડૉ. ઓમપ્રકાશ જેવા કમિશનર છીએ, જેઓ ફક્ત જાહેર હિતની સેવા માટે જ સમર્પિત છે. અમે જૂનાગઢ શહેરના કમિશ્નરને આ બાબતે તાત્કાલીક કાર્યવાહી કરવા અપીલ કરીએ છીએ. અમે અમારા નાગરિકોની સલામતી અને સુખાકારીને સુનિશ્ચિત કરીને, તબીબી કચરાના યોગ્ય સંચાલન અને અંતિમ નિકાલ માટે કડક પગલાં અમલમાં મૂકવા વિનંતી કરીએ છીએ. આવો આપણે આપણા શહેરને સ્વચ્છ, સુરક્ષિત અને સ્વસ્થ બનાવવા માટે હાથ જોડીએ. કૃપા કરીને આ અરજી પર સહી કરીને આ કારણને સમર્થન આપો.
