We are concerned members of the Albany Berkeley Soccer Club (ABSC), and we have been part of this club for the past seasons. Over these years, we have observed stagnation in our club's growth, development and staff members leaving due to lack of accountability from leadership. There has been little to no positive change in player development or support for coaches' education, which is crucial for any sports organization's success. 

The current leadership at ASBC has shown a lack of initiative towards improving the quality of coaching and player development programs. This negligence not only hampers the potential growth of our players but also discourages dedicated coaches from investing their time and effort into our club.

According to US Youth Soccer, effective leadership plays an essential role in developing successful youth soccer programs (US Youth Soccer). It is high time we demand new leadership that prioritizes player development and coach education.

Let us come together as members, parents, players, and supporters to demand change at ABSC Let's strive for a future where every individual associated with ABSC can witness positive growth within the organization.
