As a concerned individual, I have noticed the growing issue of explicit content on Netflix. This content, often mixed in with other movies and shows, poses potential harm to children and teenagers who are easily influenced by societal norms. It also infringes upon certain religious beliefs and impacts the quality of real-life relationships. While there is an option to restrict certain ratings on Netflix, it is not enough as some of these potentially restricted titles are informative documentaries that should not be categorized with explicit content.

Research has shown that exposure to explicit material can negatively affect adolescents' mental health and skew their understanding of healthy relationships.

This petition calls for Netflix either to remove titles containing pornography/nudity or create a separate section for them. By doing so, we can protect younger viewers from exposure, and maintain healthy monogamous relationships with our partners, while still preserving access to educational documentaries.
