Minecraft, a game developed by Mojang, has been a source of creativity and adventure for millions of players worldwide. However, one aspect that has been overlooked is the lack of item drops when a bat is killed in the game. This petition aims to change that.

Despite being part of the game since the Pretty Scary Update (Version 1.4.2) in October 2012, bats do not drop any items upon death. This makes them unique among mobs, as almost all other creatures in Minecraft have some form of drop.

Adding an item drop for bats would provide more incentive for players to interact with this mob and add another layer of depth and strategy to the gameplay experience.

We believe this change could be implemented in the upcoming unnamed 1.21 update, which would continue Mojang's tradition of improving and expanding upon their beloved game.
