On June 21st, Missouri AG Andrew Bailey announced his office would use State money and State personnel to file a lawsuit against the State of New York for the criminal trial of former president Donald J Trump. 

This is not the first time that AG Bailey has used State funds and State personnel to support Trump's campaign and Trump personally.

Donald J Trump, a former president who maintains residences in New York, New Jersey and Florida, is not a citizen of the State of Missouri. The lawsuits do not take place in the State of Missouri. Trump is on the Missouri ballot for the 2024 election. AG Bailey has no grounds nor Constitutionally-justified reason to take part in these actions. He should continue his good work in the prosecution of sex traffickers, drug dealers and other criminals, and in protecting consumers from mercantile fraud in the State of Missouri. 

Signing this petition shows support for the lawful work, a call to end the work on Trump's campaign and in support of Trump personally, or for the AG to resign from his post and join Trump's campaign in an official capacity. The people of the State of Missouri deserve an AG who is focused on Missouri, not on a former president and convicted felon facing prosecutions in states that are not Missouri.
