Instagram, Facebook and TikTok are more than entertainment. People use them to build businesses, earn income and preserve years of work.

But when an account is hacked, restricted or wrongfully disabled, getting help from a real person can feel impossible.

I know because it happened to me.

My account was wrongfully disabled when I had around 500,000 followers. Years of work and the community I built were suddenly at risk, and getting meaningful human support was incredibly difficult.

AI and automated systems can handle simple problems, but they should not have the final say when someone’s livelihood or years of work are at stake.

We are asking Meta and TikTok to give users a clear way to reach a trained human reviewer when automated support fails, including the ability to submit evidence and receive a clear decision.
