Myself and my family had our car written off when another vehicle ploughed into us at 60mph, causing long-term physical and psychological injuries. Financially, we have been out of pocket with the replacement of cars and the knock-on effect with insurance despite not being at fault.

The other driver admitted to being confused and assumed it was a through road—they handed over dash cam footage to the police, and we were lucky to walk away from that crash. Two years on, the road is still the same.

St Mellons Road into St Mellons Business Park currently:

• has no mirrors
• limited visibility
• no clear road markings
• no lighting
• Speed limit is national speed!

There are numerous road traffic collisions causing significant injuries and damage. How many accidents need to happen before someone takes ownership of this road?
